The Computer Based Test consists of objective type MCQ questions. Each correct answer carries 4 marks. Each wrong answer carries minus 1 mark as negative marking. Unanswered questions carry 0 marks. Important note: There is no negative marking for Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) posts.

Candidates shortlisted from CBT are called for personal interview in the following ratio: 1 to 2 posts — 5 times the number of posts. 3 to 4 posts — 4 times the number of posts. 5 posts and above — 3 times the number of posts.

Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: UR and EWS candidates require 50 percent. UR and EWS PwBD candidates require 45 percent. SC, ST, and OBC candidates require 40 percent.

Final merit list weightage: When both CBT and Interview are conducted, 80 percent weightage to CBT and 20 percent to Interview. When only Interview is conducted, 100 percent weightage to Interview.

Exam language is English only. Exam mode is Online CBT. Exam date is 15 July 2026.

Step 1 — Visit the official JIPMER website at jipmer.edu.in and click on the link for Group A Non-Faculty Recruitment July 2026.

Step 2 — Complete registration by entering your basic personal details. Login credentials (User ID and Password) will be sent to your registered email ID. Check your inbox, junk mail, and spam folder.

Step 3 — Log in using the credentials received and click on Go to Application to fill the online form with all personal, educational, and contact details.

Step 4 — Upload your recent colour passport size photograph with placard showing your name and date, and your signature on white paper with black ball point pen, both in JPEG format as per prescribed size.

Step 5 — Upload all applicable certificates including community certificate, PwBD certificate, experience certificate, NOC, educational qualification certificates, and valid Medical Council Registration Certificate(s), each in JPEG or PDF format within 800KB.

Step 6 — Pay the application fee through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. On successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Download and print it.

Step 7 — After successful payment, click the final submit button. Download your completed application form and keep it safe for all future stages.

Step 8 — If applying for more than one post, fill a separate application with separate fee for each post.

Step 9 — Do not send hard copies by post, courier, or by hand under any circumstances.
